Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Shorts.ge, operated by SHORTSGE ("we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in Georgia. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The Service
Shorts.ge is an AI-powered web application that processes YouTube videos already uploaded to your YouTube channel and generates short-form video clips ("Shorts") from them. The service uses transcript extraction, AI-based moment detection, and video rendering to produce the output.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Shorts.ge. By using the service you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
3. Your Account
You sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your account credentials or allow others to use your account. Notify us immediately at vazhadvalishvili@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You may only use Shorts.ge to process videos that you have the right to use. Specifically, you agree not to:
- Process videos that you do not own or do not have explicit permission to use;
- Upload or process content that is violent, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful;
- Process content that violates YouTube's Terms of Service;
- Use the service to infringe any third-party intellectual property rights;
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service in any way;
- Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the service without our prior written consent.
Because the videos you process are your own YouTube uploads, you represent and warrant that you hold the necessary rights to those videos and their content.
5. Generated Content
You retain full ownership of the Shorts generated from your videos. You are free to download, publish, monetise, or otherwise use the generated content as you see fit, subject to any third-party rights in the original source video (e.g. music licences). We claim no ownership over your generated Shorts.
6. Minute Balance & Payments
The service operates on a prepaid minute-balance model. Each generation job deducts minutes equal to the length of the source video. Balances and payments are governed by our Refund Policy. Payments are processed by Paddle as our merchant of record.
7. Service Availability
We aim to keep Shorts.ge available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, updates, or make changes to the service at any time without notice. We are not liable for any loss resulting from downtime or service interruptions.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the AI will produce results of any particular quality, quantity, or suitability for your purposes. The output depends heavily on the source video content.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SHORTSGE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service — including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or reputational harm. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.
10. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Where reasonably practicable we will notify you before taking action, except in cases of serious or repeated violations. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at vazhadvalishvili@gmail.com.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Where changes are material we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (e.g. via a notice on the site). Continued use of the service after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of those Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Georgia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Georgia.
